Munsch, Again

Been a while since I wrote anything.  We had a break for a while for reasons some of you know but we're just going to leave as a blank spot here.  Doesn't really stand out all that much anyway.

But coming back on a high note, we received the latest batch of books from Amazon today and one of them, I guess the guys already knew, must be from Valrica's.  So we started reading it and I tried making it a bit more fun than just reading, so I thumped my foot on the wall for the stair-travelling-parts.



Yup.  Nice, soothing stories before bed-time so everyone is ready to settle for the night  Totally nailed it.

    I had fun watching the boys really getting into the story. I agree, Daniel way hilarious and James did such a great job of singing his part. It's only fair to say that you did a great job of reading, Joe and mama did a great job taking the video.
    Thanks for sharing this priceless time with me. A great bedtime story...

I Miss Monster Sookie

What's a Monster Sookie ?  There's probably two parts to that question. The first being, what's a sookie ?  That's our name for pacifiers or soothers or whathaveyou.  I have no idea where the name came from, but I'm pretty sure I gave it too them when James was in the special care unit just after he was born and it was probably based on the sound he was making with the one the nurses had given him while he was there. So what's a Monster sookie?  That picture over there.  Brenda and Steve bought one for James well before he was old enough to actually use it (it only comes in one size, which is, I think, intended for six-month-olds).  We didn't really get a lot of use out of it until just last year when I was Han Solo for Halloween and James got to be my Li'l Chewbacca co-pilot. Robocallers

We don't get a lot of robocalls anymore thanks to the fact that we're no longer on a POTS line anymore and the blocklist service included in our VoiP package.  One of the few that still show up are "The Duct Cleaning Service".  I assume that's their "doing business as" name since that's how they always identify themselves when they call (from a local number, I may add).  But we don't talk to them.  We don't interact at all except to note the number and ban it from all future incoming attempts. I mention this because I have no  idea how tonight's bit of foolishness came about.
